Udyanraje Bhonsle (born 24 February 1966) is an Indian politician and member of the 15th Lok Sabha from Satara Constituency in Maharashtra state in India.[1] In the 2009 parliamentary elections, he was elected to the Lok Sabha as a Nationalist Congress Party candidate in May 2009 general elections by a margin of three lakh (300,000) votes. Before that, he was a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and the Minister for Revenue of Maharashtra in the Bharatiya Janata Party government.[2][3]

Bhonsle is the 13th direct descendant of the Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji.[4] He is a Doon School alumnus but did not finish his schooling from Doon School. He went on to study in St. Peter's Boys School and finished his 10th Standard in 1983. He further studied in Fergusson College, Pune. Udayanraje is married to Damayantiraje and has a son - Veerpratapsinhraje.
